smell aversion to my dog!
Okay, my dog officially stinks to me! Bad! I've even had DH bathe her a couple of days ago, and I just don't know what to do anymore. I spend all day with her everyday, and she's a bit too old, lazy and sickly to just stick her in the backyard. And she loves to follow me from room to room and sit at my feet. My mom has recommended (jokingly) putting a "smell-good" tu-tu or bandana on her for the next few months, but I think that would make it even worse...
oh well, just venting because I can't stand it anymore!

My dog stinks to everyone.
I have a smell aversion to my husbands breath. For realz. I can't take it - at all. And I don't have the heart to tell him, because I know it will make him self conscious.

ha ha -- okay that's kind of funny because my mom also told me that at least the aversion was to the dog and not to my DH's smell. I don't know what I'd do -- although it's much easier to get space from my DH then it is from my dog since at least DH is at work all day!
Maybe start leaving mints or something laying around the house? Or buy some for yourself and just be nice and buy him a pack too?
Poor thing! Sometimes I think it is worse when you take them to the groomers because then they smell like wet dog.
My dog can't get enough of me lately. He normally follows me around but jeez... he is practically surgically attached. I don't know if this is because he senses a difference in me (this is a type of dog famous for that sort of sensitivity) or if it is because I put him in the kennel for one night this weekend and he is terrified I might do it again so he is kissing up. Not sure.
Yea, I wish the mint thing would work - but it's just his breath - even after he brushes his teeth.
As for the dog thing - DH was once googling "why does my dog smell like ass?" and apparently - "why does my dog smell like fritos?" is a popular google search. And you know what? Now we think he smells like fritos. Seriously, ponder that next time you take a whiff of the pup. It's weird.

Have this same problem with my bf.. poor thing flosses after every meal and mouth washes and brushes his teeth religiously... he's really senesitive when I "joke" with him about it haha
Oh and my dog smells to everyone as well.. her breath is the worst!!!

Danse - I wouldln't say she smells like fritos, but I definitely think a moldy, sweaty gym bag! It's nasty and I think it's coming from inside her -- like rotten bowels! Okay, not really...but hopefully you know what I mean!
