My dog is preparing me for motherhood

My poor puppy has been sick for about 3 days now. She started out throwing up and then moved to throwing up with diarrhea at the same time. Finally, today she seems to be a little better. No throw up or pooping since last night. She's getting a bath now....hopefully this episode is over. We both haven't slept in 3 nights!

    did you call your vet? I hate when my cats are sick, it's breaks my heart.

    I agree with the pp, you need to call your vet if you haven't... being sick for 3 days doesn't sound good or anything to be ignored.

    I had to wipe our cat's ass the other day and it was the most disgusting thing ever, LOL.  I don't know what happened but I noticed some poo on his bum so I had to wipe it off so it wouldn't get on anything!  I think it was from the grass he ate when we let him outside so we're going to have to really make sure he doesn't eat grass when he goes out there anymore.  We always supervise him because he's technically an indoor cat but we just moved to a house with a fenced in yard so we let him get some fresh air every now & again.  He was an outdoor cat before we adopted him though.  I really would like to not have to wipe his ass again!  Ick!

    My dog sleeps with us and he get's up at night sometimes to go to the bathroom or get some water.  He's just getting me ready for baby!  Maybe I should start making DH get up with the puppy!

    Yeah, we called the vet. She had something like this last year and I swear it's the doggy stomach flu (lol) but they don't seem to really be able to diagnose it. They told me to give her this special food w/rice in it and it seems to be working.

    Oh that's good that your vet is aware then.  Hopefully it clears up soon then.. poor puppy.
