What about marriage counceling (not the pre-wedding kind mandated by many churches)?

    I said we should be in counseling because I honestly think every couple could use some.

    We have. DH went a lot more than I did but even seeing him get help made a big difference for me.?

    We went to counseling for awhile, I really believe it's what turned things around for us and saved our marriage. I would go back in a heartbeat if we needed to.

    We went to MC a few times and H wouldn't do what the counselor recommended (ie: stop lying). He played it up on counseling that he was listening, but he wasn't putting into action what was coming out of his mouth. So, I said enough of this! and kicked him out after catching him in more lies the 3rd time (after he swore I knew everything about the affair). I still go to individual counseling but he wouldn't go to figure out what caused him to cheat. Afterall... he's a good person. I voted what a crock of shittt. I'm bitter tonight.

    I'm pretty sure I'd be bitter too. I don't blame you a bit. He sounds like a jerk, but even so, I'm sorry for everything you're going through.
