How are you all holding up??

We are snowed in STILL up here....

My dad's house is flooded in Bismarck...so that pretty much stinks

    I'm in MN, but only a half hour from ND.  We're not in danger of flooding, but there sure is a lot of water around!  A lot of students in the district I work in are volunteering to sandbag.  My cousin has to leave her 1st flr. apt in Fargo and I have a good friend in Bismarck who tells me that it's pretty bad there too.  Sorry to hear about your dad's house!

    i should be safe here in Leonard but things in Fargo are BAD. I took a snow day though...I didn't feel like driving in to Fargo for work! Everything there is closed, I keep checking to see if my office is but no, sadly, it isn't!

    That sucks about your dad's house. I'm so sorry to hear that Sad

    I'm doing ok here at home. We had a storm day today and another one tomorrow so I guess I get a surprise 2 days off! :-) DH has still be driving to Fargo for work and he says it's just nuts there. We're definitely not in danger of flooding where we live in town but other people are.

    We had about 6-8 inches of snow this morning, what a crazy sight to wake up to!

     Thinking of all of you girls! Stay safe and dry.

     Not sure about this. West Acres and the Moorhead mall were both closed today along with many other stores. I'd wait it out and see what happens. I know you need to get stuff though. Good luck!

    My aunt and uncle got evacuated in Bismarck and I am just waiting to hear what is going to happen to my cousin and her DH is Fargo.   I have been working from home for he past 2 days due to ice and snow.  Our flooding will start once the water starts running up here and goes into the lake.  The lake is suppose to rise another 3 feet this summer...looks like more rock and sh!t for what is left of my grandma's lot....and more roads getting raised.  When the lake goes down people are going to wonder "What in he!! were they thinking"

    We got maybe a couple inches of snow here.  My town had school two hours late, but the district I work for didn't.  So I braved icy 94 and made it in double the time it usually takes me!

    I'm guessing I won't be birthday shopping this weekend.  Shoot!  I need to get stuff...I'll have to settle for the few stores in Fergus...

    I am in Devils Lake.  If the dike protecting the town ever brakes...I will have lake front property again!!!
