We are doing an Easter brunch the Saturday of Easter weekend-family only. We're having 16 adults and 5 kids ages 3 to 8, if that matters. I'm just decorating for Easter and we have a Jumpy House for the kids. I've done chinese take out containers with candy in them for favors.
Would you add or take anything off the menu?
-Egg, sausage, and cheese casserole
-Cheese Grits-I'm not a fan but, everyone else is
-Tomato Tart (pie crust with motz cheese, thin sliced tomato, and basil)
-Finger Sandwiches-chicken salad, cream cheese and spinach, and pimento cheese on white and wheat bread
-Fruit Salsa with Cinamon Chips
-Peach tea and assorted juices, coke and diet coke
-Cake
WDYT?
Re: WDYT? Emerson's birthday menu
Sounds yummy to me!
I would add one more kid-friendly item since you'll have 5 kids. PB&J, chicken nuggets, etc...
otherwise sounds good
I completely disagree. You've got eggs, cheese, bread, fruit. Nothing unfriendly to kids. I think the reason so many kids live on chicken nuggets, peanut butter and mac 'n cheese is because people assume that's all they'll eat.
And this is a Southern party. Somehow, I'm sure the little Southern kids have been exposed to grits and pimento cheese.
