Seperation Anxiety/ Ferber method

My DS is 8 m 1 w old and we just moved across country about 3 weeks ago. Since we moved we have tried to give him timeto get settled before trying to work on Ferberizing him. But it seems that he has also started having speration anxiety at night and we find him standing up in his crib screaming bloody murder and feel so bad we end up feeding him or having him lay on our chest. Any ideas other than waiting it out?

    Sorry, I don't have any other ideas for you.  We moved when DD was six months old, and it took her over a month to be comfortable in our new place even though we tried to set her room up in a similar way.  Big changes can be really hard on them.
