  I have one and love it, but I think it depends what you need it for if it is worth the money.  For me, I returned to work at 10 weeks pp and have to carry the pump back and forth to work every day.  The small size and the fact that you can carry it in pretty much any bag made it worthwhile for me.  I also like that it's easy to carry around the house if I'm pumping at home.  I don't like the hands free kit that came with it (I use the Easy Expressions pumping bra instead), but the pump itself is super portable and doesn't need to be plugged in.  I'd say if you'll be working outside of your home, or have to pump while you're away from home it's well worth it - if you SAH most of the time, I'd probably go with something a little cheaper if money is a concern.  GL!

  I love love love my medela freestyle. I think it is really worth the money. I bought mine at awaybabyrentals.com for 285 instead of 399 at BRU. So def check a couple places first. It is so convient. If we are driving on a long trip I pump in the car while DH drives. Its so small and compact. It comes with a bag and I carry it into work with me and no one even knows its a pump. Its not really loud. I really love this pump

  I used my friends PIS for about a week prior to buying my Freestyle.  I got mine from a local Medela dealer who sells it for 310 including tax.  Definitly call around/shop around.  For me it was the right decision to get and has been worth it, but I think it depends on your personal circumstances.  It really is convenient.
