Babies on the Brain

Yesterday it was the washer today it is the dryer.

You have got to be kidding me!  I finally got the funk out of the washer.  I have no clue what it was, nor do I care now that it is gone.  Today I am back to my laundry.  It has taken 2-80 min runs to dry a small load of dedicates that are very thin clothing and 3-80 min runs to dry a normal load of colors.  I think KARMA is getting me for something.  I repent my sins, God just make my laundry room work now.

  • Our dryer is the same way. I would see if maybe the vent thing where to hose goes it clogged. Ours got bad and it would dry worth a crap. Hopefully its that and not the elements going out.

Dh is going to check the vent when he gets home.

    Gas dryer or electric dryer???

does it get hot at all?

for both - check your lint screen, your exhaust duct, your exterior exhause vent for clogs.

gas dryer - gas line clogged, pilot light out, electric starter dead

electric dryer - heating elements dead, fuse blown...

    GL!

I am starting to think you are a creepy repairman. Hmm

Thanks, for the info.  DH is going to look at the vents when he comes home.  He thinks they are clogged.

I should, but it is WAYYYYYY to long as it is.  I could remove something.  I will look and see what I can do.

Nope...not a creepy repairman...just a girl who bought a house that came with all the old appliances.

I learned a lot from my dad too...he fixed everything around the house and I always helped (or got in his way).  Big Smile

     GL!

LOL.  Well, thanks for the advice yesterday.  It fixed the smells in my washer.  Now, Dh has to fix the dryer.
