T minus 21 hours and 15 minutes until induction...

and I'm starting to freak out a little! If someone would've told me I'd be over 38 weeks pregnant with twins and they were going to have to drag them out I would've laughed in their face! And now here we are...just waiting to go the hospital.

Insane...I'm going to be a mom tomorrow. Any advice on staying calm? How am I going to take care of these babies when they get home? Wow, there are really 2 in there???

Good luck girl! We'll be thinking about you tomorrow and looking forward to hearing all about your little ones' birthdays! It will be a day you'll never forget and NOTHING is better than getting to hold your two babies in your arms (and getting to breathe easily for the first time in months, and getting to feel lighter after feeling enormous after months, etc.!) Instinct will totally kick in and guide you during those first few days. And the nurses will be very helpful, too. Take lots of pics and update us when you can. GOOD LUCK...it's finally showtime!

Good luck and enjoy those babies! Times might get rough at home, but they are so worth it. I melt every time my girls smile at me, nuzzle a little closer and look at me with their big wide eyes, even if it is right after an hour of screaming. You will figure it all out as you go and it will come naturally.?

Oh you only THINK it will be 21 hours and some odd minutes... I made it to 4 hours before my induction time. at 38w 5d, before my water broke!

You'll be fine - the best way to stay calm (IMO) is to focus on drinking lots of water and resting - let the nurses and staff care for your babies the first days. A good calm CD playing in your recovery room on repeat helps a lot too.

If there are any movies you're longing to watch, do it now.

If you want to get more than 2 hours of sleep, do it now.

If you want to eat sitting down, do it now.

If you need a haircut or pedicure, do it now!

take a nap, go get a pedicure, and have a nice quiet dinner out with your DH tonight. And then relax, you'll do great!
