TTC after 35

Meds during 2ww

Hello All,

Well it's that time of year where everyone has been getting sick! I am feeling crummy and fighting off a fever. My DH thinks I should take something to help ease the suffering. However, I feel that during this 2ww I probably shouldn't take anything.....am I right or just being paranoid?

Thanks,

Shar

Re: Meds during 2ww

  • you actually don't share a blood supply with the baby until approx 4-6 wks i believe. so you would be ok right now even if you are pregnant.

if you are still worried, tylenol and benadryl are usually ok'd by physicians. and i believe the ingredients in dayquil but not in nyquil

but tylenol is ok. even in pregnancy. but when pregnant they recommend only regular strength not extra strength.

there are also web sites online that give lists of drugs that are ok during pregnancy. just google it.

or you can ask your doctor.

  • if you go to safefetus.com you'll see what is and isn't safe during pregnancy. I know it's early, but I would probably try to stick to the list of things that are safe for pregnancy...

    Feel better fast!Smile
