We registered for the MetroLite. It includes the SnugRIde infant carseat which is one of only two carseats that passed all of Consumer Reports safety tests. The stroller is 17 pounds empty so it's easy to fold and maneuver. It's probably the lightest stroller out there.
We didn't get Graco, we got the Chicco Keyfit carseat (Cubes pattern) and the matching stroller. I think the Graco car seats only go up to 23 pounds or so and the Chicco went up to 30, as well as had good consumer ratings.
We got the Metrolite - we had registered for another pattern, but ended up getting the Delancey pattern since it was $169.99 (because the pattern was being phased out.) Seems pretty decent.
Graco Alano The weight of the carseat was important to me since I am so small. It only weighs 7.3lbs. The stroller is light weight also and easy to open.

I looked at the Chicco but ended up getting the Graco SnugRide 32, which accomodates up to 32 pounds. I also considered the Graco SafeSeat which goes up to 30 pounds, but can hold a slightly taller baby than the Chicco can. This was important to me because I'm 6'0 and my husband is 6'5... odds are we're going to have a large baby.
We found out that neither the SnugRide 32 nor the SafeSeat can snap into all of the Graco strollers, though, so that's something to watch out for.
We got the Graco Quattro Tour in Nouvelle. Even though it is a bit heavier than the Metrolite I liked the features that came with it and found it easy to fold, etc.
