Baby furniture favorites?

Next weekend I am heading out to pick out the nursery furniture. What type/style did you decide to go with? I definately would like a crib that can convert into a toddler bed and I have been told to go for a dresser/changing table combination and not buy a seperate changing table.

  • I totally second the dresser/changing table combi.  We are getting that and if you dont' have much space I think you'll appreciate the dual function!  It can also be used as dresser someday when your babie(s) are older.

  • I'm going with Westwood Baby's Spring Creek collection.  It converts eventually all the way to a full size bed.  It is a bit more expensive but Baby Bargains gives it an A and it's made of solid wood.  I really love the color and the classic look too.
  • We are buying the Munire Majestic line in espresso. We chose this because we wanted something very solid and worth the $. We are just doing the crib and the dresser. My friend has a set by Million Dollar Baby and it is gorgeous. You can tell it will last FOREVER!

  • We are going with the Young America/Stanley furniture. The name of the collection is the "Four Seasons". It is very simply, classy, and elegant. We got it in the espresso finish, and only purchased the crib, the conversion kit for when we are ready to convert it to a full, a nightstand, and the dresser, which will also serve as the changing table for now. Did not purchase the changing table.
