  Yeah, I think it's pretty normal.  I kept asking DH if he was punching me in the @$$ while I was sleeping!

  I've had this since first DD was born:( I don't know why, but sometimes is worse than others. Usually a sharp pain when I sit, stand, get up......and sometimes no pain at all. I'm not sure if it's pregnancy symptom, I suspect mine might be more of a result of past pregnancy or child birth.

  Welcome to the world of Sciatica brought to you by increased hormone supply. There is no rhyme or reason to when this pain strikes and very little you can do for it. I'm working on inventing a blunt jackhammer like object to work on the nerve in your butt as extreme punching to said nerve is the only thing that brings me relief.

  Yeap... its a royal pain in the ass. Literally! Mine is a dull annoying pain. I am starting to get use to it. I find its worse when I sit in a chair with less lower back support.

  Yes I have a pain in my butt it is usually centered in either butt cheeck...anyhoo...took my dog on a long long walk thinking I'd work it out....well later that evening after sitting on the couch for a while I thought I was beginging to cripple....but on a positive note the next day it wasnt bothering me anymore....

  Yeah, I get this all the time and my boss who is also pg never gets it. But my pain doesn't go away whether I'm sitting or standing and it lasts for hours.
