Almost went through the phone to throat punch..

in 2nd Trimester

... the girl scheduling my big u/s. I called, gave her all my info, and this is how it went:

Biatch: You know you are only going to be 18 1/2 weeks when you come in.

Me: Wow, didn't know that. Yes, I knew that, what's wrong?

Biatch: We usually wait until 19 weeks to do this... why are you calling?

Me: My OB yesterday told me that starting this week, I can come in for the u/s.

Biatch: Which one? This doesn't sound true.

Me: I'll be there this week, give me a time and leave me alone.

Stupid people.... now I'm freaking out worrying about it...

    Yes, because those 3 days are going to make a HUGE difference.

    I had my big u/s at 18w2d and the tech got everything she needed.

    That's so dumb.  Like 3 days is going to make a difference first of all! My ob told me mine would be fine to have at 18w3d (my next monthly appt).

    Thanks for the encouragement girls... I know I shouldn't be worried, but I really want everything to go well (and I REALLY wanna know if I'm on team blue or pink) but next Wednesday is the only day FI has off, and I'll be 18 weeks, 4 days.... in three days, I don't think it's gonna grow a penis.. it'll either be there or it wont!

     No worries, by 18 weeks they should be able to get all the measurements they need as long as the baby is in a good position. I don't understand why that lady was being so rude about it.
