Do you know that kind of velcro that doesn't snag on things? I have a lot of Carters bibs and a few other things that have it -- it's not scratchy and it only attaches to what it's supposed to. It doesn't hold on to lint, hair, etc.
I was just thinking about how wonderful a pocket diaper made with that would be. But I don't even know what to search for because I don't know what it's called. Anyone know of any diapers made with it?
If I knew how, I would totally convert my pockets to this!
ETA: I know velcro is a brand name. So, what "hook & loop" fastener is this?![]()
Re: What type of velcro is this?
hmm. sounds interesting. Some of our bibs have something that seems like it might be this. But I still get laundry chains of bibs for some reason, so I don't know if it would be that helpful with pockets.
I guess you could always cut up the bibs and sew those parts onto your pockets.
Maybe someone at a fabric store would know?
Yep, I bet they would know at JoAnns.
I really love bGs except for the quality of the velcro tabs and microfiber stink. Lately I've been stuffing them with hemp, which solves the stink problem, but I still get annoyed with the tabs.
