This is probably going to be TMI, but I'm curious.
When I was pg briefly before, I had several random orgasms in my sleep. They would wake me up and upon waking, my uterus would be in the midst of cramping, which would go away pretty quickly.
Have any of you experienced that before? For me, it was very early in pregnancy. I was only about 5 weeks along at the time. I m/c'd around 6.5 weeks.
I'm asking because I had my first one since then last night. I'm 11dpiui and trying to decide whether or not to get my hopes up. I'll know for sure tomorrow though, since that's when I'm testing. But then again, I can't help but wonder if it's a bad sign, since I m/c when it happened before. Did any of you have that happen and go on to have healthy pregnancies?
Re: Symptom question from a TTTCer
I dont have much experience, that has only happened to me once & it was during a month I was not pg. However, I'm reading "The girlfriend's guide to pregnancy" & she devotes a whole section to this & talks about how she had this alot during all of her pregnancies. I think it has to do w/ increased blood flow to the vagina/vulva or something, but I don't think it is at all related to miscarriage, don't worry!
GL with testing!!!!!!!!
I think this is a very common s/e of pregnancy (though I must admit I have had it happen when I wasn't pg too-- but it seems to increase with pregnancy). It doesn't happen as much anymore but it happened quite frequently starting at about 6weeks for me and I have gone on to have what appears to be a healthy pregnancy.
Enjoy ; ) And good luck!!
Yes, it happened to me, and so far so good with this pg. I was in my first tri and had a big cramp afterwards, so it made me scared too.
For me, I think it happens much more frequently during pg than when not pg. Good luck!
I should probably clarify. I get them during BFN months too. But they never result in cramping. The only time I ever had cramping after them was when I was pg. And then again last night. I guess I was wondering if other pg women experience the cramping factor after O.
Now that I think about it, I'm probably just reading too much into it. I just thought it was odd, since I never cramp after orgasms.
