DS was 11 lbs at his app't 2 weeks ago. We're on our last pack of 1s. I have about 2 dozen or so left. I have already bought the big box of 2s and got some from my shower.
I think about 2 months, but DD is long so she always blows out up her back. If you want to buy size 1-2 don't buy too many, there is hardly any difference between them and size 1, we only made it through half the box we bought at BRU before they were too small. Now size 2-3 is almost necessary because there is a HUGE difference between a size 2 Swaddler and size 3 Cruiser.

Today. DS is a little more than 13 lbs, and they are still pretty big, but he was blowing out his size 1s. I looked for 1-2s, but didn't have any luck at local stores, and it didn't seem worth it to have to buy them and have them shipped.
DS was in size 1 from birth until he was about 6 weeks. He then was in size 2 from 6 weeks to 12 weeks. He's been in size 2-3 since (he'll be 18 weeks tomorrow).
FWIW, he was 8lbs, 9oz & 21" at birth; 12lbs, 14oz & 23.5" at 2 months; and 16 lbs, 7oz & 26" at 4 months.
We've been in them for about 2 weeks now. At first they seemed kinda big, but I found a random size 1 in the diaper bag the other day and it barely fit! Ben was almost 12 pounds at his 2 month appt. and is right on the median for height and weight. But we use Pampers Baby Dry, so maybe they fit different?
Re: when did you move into size 2 pampers?

Just this week. Ashlyn was pretty snug in size 1 swaddlers for a bit now but I didn't want to waste them and wanted to use them up.
Size 2's are SO much better on her little bum.
She is about..if I had to guess...about 15-16 lbs. We have her 4 month on the 30th so we will see then.
