Pregnant after a Loss

I sleep so poorly ever since I have been pregnant :(

I just don't get it. I am so tired yet I cannot sleep more than 1.5 to 2 hours in a row.  I either wake up and look at the clock, or I need to pee or I have had a bad dream during those rare hours I do sleep.  It is getting so old.  At first I thought it was because my ms was so bad and I was sick even in the middle of the night, but now that it is easing up I still don't sleep well.

Anyone else?  I expect this further along in pregnancy, but not the entire 1st trimester and now going into 2nd :(

  • I'm right there with you. It helps if I shove a bunch of food in my face right before I go to sleep. I think I wake up in the middle of the night hungry.

  • I will have to agree with you.  I have not slept well since becoming pg either.  but I at least sleep for 4-6 hr chunks only waking 1 time to pee.  However I never feel rested and was jsut thinking to myself the other day that I have not had a good night sleep in months.

    Preping for the baby(ies) I guess  :(

  • I sleep terribly too and I am only 7 weeks! ?I don't have any advice and I have heard that it does get better in the second tri. ?
  • Im right there with ya!  Between getting up to pee... waking up from sweating uncontrollably... bad dreams... etc.. I only sleep 2-3 hours at a time before im waking up and tossing and turning to try to fall back asleep!  It stinks!!!

  • I take a tylenol pm every night or I can't sleep more than three hours...my doc said it was safe becuase it is the same ingredient as benedryl...you could ask your doc about it.
