DH just bought me a bigger purse

(yippee) and I think I'm gonna nix the diaper bag now. I mostly leave it in the car these days anyway...

I just keep diapers and wipes in my car now and carry a purse that I can put all the way across my chest on now. It's way too hard to carry a diaper bag or a purse with two kids. I tried a bigger purse and always kept my debit card and ID in my pocket. Then I lost my ID, so I got a purse that would suit me.

I just do a purse for whenever we are headed to the store or out to dinner with friends/family.

If I am going to be visiting at someone's house for a while or on a long outing I will carry the diaper bag to pull extra supplies from. So, I still use my purse but have the diaper bag for all of the extras.

I never carried a purse before having DD. Now I have the diaper bag but will keep with it because we only use it to go to work so its also a lunch box and laptop case. Now if could find my old college tote bag or buy a new one I would use that now but there are no funds for a new bag and I haven't seen my tote since we moved over a year ago.:-P

I just switched to a bigger purse and I love it. I was leaving the diaper bag in the car most of the time anyway, so now I keep diapers & wipes in the car, and I can put her lunchbox in my purse if we are going to lunch. If we are going to be out all day I would maybe still take the diaper bag.

I never use a diaper bag anymore, just a large purse. My husband uses the diaper bag, though, since a large purse isn't an option for him. LOL

I just got a Vera Bradley mailbag. It's awesome! It's big, but not too big and with enough pockets to hold all my stuff.

I am in lust w/ my diaper bag Haha.. I got a designer one for this reason, I knew I wouldn't want to go back to a purse because I love my d.bag so much! :::what happened to the blushing smiley-face?:::

I normally just carry a big purse. I bust out the diaper bag if we're going hiking or something, but other than that, everything fits in the purse.

It depends where I'm going...if it's a quick trip out then I don't even bother with a diaper bag; I just stick a small container of Cheerios or Puff in my purse and go. I have my huge designer DB for mommy group and other visits when I am going to be out for a few hours, and I have a small messenger-style DB for walks and shopping.

I stopped using my diaper bag a month or so ago, when we finished with bottles. I love not having to switch stuff back and forth. I ahve a nice canvas bag that I can keep some extras in when we are out and about and I think I will need more than I want in my purse but typically a few diapers, wipes and my older DD's extra undies and pants fit very easily into my purse. I only bring the extra canvas bag if we are going to need bibs or we are gone for a full day and I need more stuff and it stays in the car unless I know I will need it.

My mom bought me a big purse and I love to just throw a few things in it for DS when I am going to a few places for a short period of time. I just leave the diaper bag in the car now. HTH

I'm the same. I always use a fairly large handbag so I just throw his sippy, some wipes and maybe a diaper w/ the pad depending on where we are. I also keep the diaper bag in the car with food, books, toy, etc.

I hate diaper bags. They are ugly, even the expensive ones. I use a big purse. But it's so big it is the size of a diaper bag.

I have a Fleurville diaper bag that I love but I'm thinking of getting a giant purse (there is a Coach one I want!) and just use that.

Did you get a petunia pickle bottom?? I remember wanting one really really badly when I was pg and other things became more important UNTIL a friend of mine came over with hers and I remembered why I wanted one so badly. I guess it was out of sight out of mind... hehe.
