I am going in for a follow-up appointment this afternoon--when I saw the Dr. last Thursday, he said I was not ready to ovulate. Well, I think I ovulated last night. So what will the Dr. be able to see at the internal ultrasound?
And--let me preface this by saying that I am an idiot--would the ultrasound and the lubricant he uses harm the sperm that might be in there still?
Re: Question about post ovulation ultrasound
He should be able to tell if you did ovulate.
I'm not sure about the lubricant they use being harmful, I would ask.
I don't think my Dr. does. He uses some blue goopity-goop. We bought some PreConceive Plus to use this cycle. Maybe I should take it with me. ; )
yes they can tell if you ovulated by checking your ovaries...they can see where your egg dropped from...
Also....they can just use plain water to do the u/s.....they did that when they did an u/s for me prior to the IUI....
