XP: Baby Bee butt paste and furbabies

I just posted this on my local board and I thought I'd share here too.

My cocker spaniel gets hot spots in the spring, so this year since we had some handy (and heard of the advantages of bee products on pet's hot spots) we put a little dab of Burt's Bee's Diaper Rash Cream on his hot spots.

Within a couple of HOURS the hot spots were already much less red, and he stopped itching them. Its amazing!  The tube of paste itself is fairly inexpensive, espeically compared to the cost of the vet trip and the medication we usually use plus its 90 something percent organic so when he licks it its not as bad for him. Two thumbs (and four paws) up for the baby bee butt paste!

  • It's great that it works.. I have to admit I giggled a little about the thought of butt pasting a pet. Hey if it works, it works right!
