About 15 minutes ago, DD declared that she was "hungee" (hungry) and asked for "lush" (lunch). I asked her what she wanted and then made a couple of suggestions: sandwich, quesadilla, etc.
DD proceeded to tell me that she wanted a "diya" (quesadilla), some "ornidge" (oranges), and "joof" (juice). Once she had her "diya" she asked for "diss" (dips), so I gave her some sour cream to dip it in.
I just had to share. The only suggestion that I made for her lunch was the quesdilla, everything else she asked for by name, without prompting from me. My little baby is turning into a big girl...

I'm simultaneously ecstatic that I understood everything she said, and so sad because she's not a baby anymore...
I'm with you, though, it's amazing to see the little person she's becoming. It's so cool...
That's awesome! How adorable:)
In our house, every animal says "moo," except dogs. Dogs say "vuff" (woof). lol
