Wet bag stinks, help!

I wash our wet bag every time I wash diapers.  Two washes ago I noticed it still smelled like a poopy diaper after that wash.  I soaked in the washer for a couple hours and rewashed, but it still smells bad.  The diapers all smell fine.  What can I do to get the smell out?

    are you turning it inside out before you wash it?

    turn inside out, be sure you use hot water for soaking and washing, and maybe throw a downy ball with vinegar in the wash. Otherwise, maybe put some baking soda inside, hold the top closed, and shake it around? That might absorb the odor, and it'll wash out just fine the next time you wash it.

    I do turn it inside out.  I'll try dumping some baking soda in there and make sure I use vinegar in the wash next time.  I think I soaked it in cold water so I'll also try using hot.
