RP: More Teething at 11 months - stopped eating solids?!

RP from 6-12 months

 DS is going through another teething bout and he has stopped eating any solids (except cheeris) ...just throws them on the floor.  Is this common when teething?  I'm getting worried...

    It's incredibly common.  Think about it - how much do you like chewing when your mouth hurts?  DD only likes cold stuff when she's teething.

    My DS always has a big decrease in appetite when he's teething.  It also must be painful to suck from a sippy cup, because he usually goes on a milk strike, too.  So serving him from a "big boy" cup helps get the fluids down.
