Creative ways to ask godparents...

Hi ladies.  Anyone know of any creative ways to ask people to be godparents?  I'm usually pretty good at this, but right now I'm at a loss.  It has to be the sleep deprivation...

    We wrote Gigi's godparents a letter telling them why we thought they would great godparents and then asking them to be a part of her life.  It's not super creative, but we wanted a way that would be more special than saying, "Will you?"

    We took a picture of DD with a sign that said, "Aunt Carolyn, will you be my Godmother?" and gave it to her in a card.  She loved it!
