what gift are you getting your shower hostess?

My best friend and mother in law are throwing my shower and i have no idea what to get them as a thank you gift...

what are you ladies doing?

    I want to get my mom and FIs mom something for throwing my shower too but I have no idea what to get them. Maybe i'll get some ideas from this as well!

    I got one hostess a pre-mixed little martini set that was really cute -- one bottle was a lemon drop, one a cosmo and so on.  She was saying how she hated to bother opening an entire bottle of wine or mixing up something when her DH was OOT.  The other hostess was really into scrapbooking so I got her a small GC to the local scrapbooking store she likes.  You usually can't go wrong with wine or a manicure GC.

    I'm getting my 2 MILs each a baby photo album. Nothing cutesy or themey - it's pink and brown with dots.

    my sister is officially throwing mine, but it is really her and my mom.  My sis will be spending the night before at my house since she lives 3 hours away- i am going to take her for a mani/pedi in the morning.   My mom won't be down until that day so there won't be time for her to be included in the mani/pedi (she is driving with friends so I can;t rearrange that), so I am not sure what to get her

    my SIL and mom are co-hosting my shower.  for my SIL, i'm getting her a GC to a store where she can get some camera equipment that she;s been eyeing.  for my mom, i thought i'd get her just a small picture frame for a baby pic.

    For DS's shower I got my shower hostess a necklace with a single pearl on a white gold chain from bluenile.com.  She seemed to really like it.

    I got each of my shower hostesses a different jewelry holder or jewelry tree from Red Envelope; they have a baby giraffe ring holder, a baby elephant ring holder, and a jewelry tree with birds on it.  $29.95 each, but I wanted to get them something they would be able to keep for a long time.

    I got my mom and sister earings of the baby's birthstone.  since I am due May 30 I got pearls with 2 little emarlds to cover if the baby was born in May or June.

    My mom and MIL threw my shower, so I bought them each a photo box and decorated it to their styles.  Inside, I put brag books (I found photo books in the $1 bin at Target) which I decorated new covers for with Finn's name on them, little boy picture frames, small fleece blankies to wrap him up when they have him, and "I Love Grandma" bibs, and thank you notes. 

    They both LOVED them.

    I bought my mom, my MIL and my sister initial necklaces from Tiffany.

    It was a splurge, but they have done *so much* for me and the baby already, it was the least I could do.  I can't wait to give it to them at the shower!
