World's best little sister

Backstory: My sister, in general, sucks at being a good sister.  She doesn't answer phone calls.  She doesn't make time for me when I'm visiting.  ANd when I got married, she skipped out on my lingerie shower and spent the money my Dad had given her on weed...

 Well... since DH is gone, I've been incredibly lonely.  I've been home once (a month ago now) and I cried the entire 4 hour drive back here.  My first u/s was Thursday and I refused to go alone.  My grandparents loaned their car (with a full tank of gas) to my sister to come down.  AND SHE DID!  She brought the old recliner and ALL of my old books from home... AND she won MAJOR brownie points by bringing me TWO bags of boiled peanuts from my favorite roadside vendor... the ONLY thing I've been craving CONSTANTLY throughout this pregnancy so far... And when she got here, I convinced her to stay an extra day.  :-D  I'm sad she's already gone (left this morning), but it sure was nice to have someone else around for a little bit.

    Sometimes you get thrown a curve ball....always when you most need them they usually shine!!  I'm glad you got to spend some good, quality time with her and that she came through for you!!  Here's to a lifetime of more moments like these!!

    This makes me miss my sisters.  I am so happy that your little sis is stepping up especially b/c it sounds like your DH is deployed.  I hope this pattern continues during your pregnancy and beyond.  Good luck!
