Teething tablets have coffee in them????

Last night we were giving DS some teething tablets, the all natural ones with chamomile, and he did his hyper little dance.  My mom asked me what the deal was with his head shaking jumping around and squealing dance.  I read the ingredients of his teething tablets and discovered coffee seeds were an ingredient.  Really?  Is this a good idea?  Thoughts Ladies?

    i had no idea.  what brand are they? i use the hyland ones, and sad to say, have not read the ingriedient list that closely...

    I don't know what exactly it is, but it's not coffee the way you'd think of coffee we drink.

    It's Coffea Cruda 3X HPUS and it helps with wakefulness & diuresis, helps to reduce difficulty falling asleep. So it has the opposite effect that actual coffee would ;)

    We use Hyland Teething tablets and i just read their ingredients and it does have Coffee Cruda 3x HPUS. I have't seen DS jumping around after i gave him the tablets, in fact he was able to fall asleep with you. So not sure what it does to toothache.

    Mkay, well then my kid is just a spaz, LOL.  I just never noticed that ingredient before and when I noticed it I was very surprised.  Thank you ladies. :-)

    Someone gave us some all natural teething tablets as a gift - I read the ingredients and didn't feel comfortable giving them to my girls.
