We're having a brunch after dd's baptism on Easter Sunday. I was planning on getting a cake but comments from my mom (who is usually really good about not butting in) made me second guess the cake.
Not at all. We are having a brunch for dd's 2nd b-day on Saturday, and are having a cake. Plus, all the fancy brunches I've been at in hotels and such always have various cakes on the dessert table.
I've been to several showers lately at 10am... and I just get sad when there ISN'T cake!! Some of them do... some of them don't... but I'm a full supporter of cake anytime!

My thoughts exactly!
Thanks! I agree - who doesn't love cake? I don't think it matters what time it is!
