my stomach got really big over night lol which i love but everybody says its suppose to be hard and its NOT!!! is everybodys stomach hard????

Mine is getting pretty hard now, but it wasn't for a while. ?I think it started getting really hard maybe like 2 weeks ago?

It's not going to be hard until later in pregnancy when your uterus takes up all that space and smooshes your intestines around.

Mine gets harder as the day goes on and by evening/dinner time it is hard as a rock.

within the past 10 days my belly has really startedd growing, but it's still soft on top (where my insulation is) but my lower belly feels pretty firm. I've heard the same thing though and just assume it's when you get a bit bigger and the skin gets tighter. Don't know if that's all true though.

My mom poked mine last week up top and said, "oh it's still squishy up there!" Not cute. But I think it gets harder the further along you get.

I don't know if this is normal or if I am a freak but my stomach is hard up top where all my organs are, but it is not hard down below my belly button which is where the baby is. I have no idea why that is but i am going to ask my ob tomorrow. I think it is weird. By the way I am 22 weeks and 2 days.

Mine is hard where the uterus is (just slightly below the belly button), the rest is as usual, firm because I have tight abs but not "rock hard" as uterus.

A few weeks ago a friend poked my belly and pronounced that it wasn't very hard yet, which at the time I thought probably meant that I was flabby

I don't really think that's it though: I think as baby grows the bumps gets harder, mine has in the past couple of weeks, although sometimes when DD is hanging out near my bladder it feels pretty soft.

I just had an appt. a little while ago today, and found out that, though I thought my uterus was still real low, the top of it is actually at my belly button! Shocked the crap out of me!

I thought this because my belly is still pretty soft and I thought it was supposed to be hard, so soft is normal, I guess.
