Filling out a Baby Book??

Are any of you filling out a baby book? ?I was pretty hesistant about it but my DH insists on it. ?We were given three from our sisters who never used thiers and last night DH worked very intensely as he filled his favorite one out. ?

So it made me think, are any of you filling one out or are you doing anything different but special for the baby??

Me: 30, DOR with a FSH of 12.5
DH: 31, no issues
4-6/2012 100mg of Clomid + trigger + IUI/TI = BFN
7/2012 150mg of Gonal-f + trigger + IUI = BFN
8/2012 Surprise unmedicated BFP!! Due May 8, 2013

    We'll do a baby book when the babe gets here.

    But I'm contemplating getting parts of my blog published into a book for the babe.

    I started one with my 1st pregnancy, but when I miscarried, I tossed the book.  Now, I am hesitant to start another book.  I would like to (the belly book is so cute) I just haven't gotten around to it yet.

    I've been keeping a weekly journal since we got the BFP and have written letters to our baby for a future gift.

    Oh yeah we did start one..have not finished it because it is like a baby book and it asks my DH and I questions about what we were like before the baby and what we did and so on..oh yeah and it has a family tree..and places to put all pictures of family, ourselves, ultrasounds and so on..Sorry I got all exicted about it because I think it would have been neat to have one myself but oh well.

    That's so sweet that he's into it.  When baby is older you will be really happy you did it.  I still have mine that my mom filled out for me.  It's awesome. 

    I am not doing one that you buy at the store but I'm using it as a model for the scrapbook style book I'm making for baby.  I scrapbooked all my daughter's pics but used a seperate baby book for  the baby journaling stuff.  This time I'm doing it all in one.

       I think that's an awesome idea...especially with some of your letters to HJ!

    Oh this is a good reminder for me- I want to do stuff like this. I am SO a "wanna be" when it comes to creative stuff. I wish I was cool and artsy and creative and I try but I ususally fail. hopefully this will work out for me though :) Love all the ideas you guys have!!

    My sisters gave me the best present ever for Christmas.  I got a set of monthly journals from pottery barn (they are awesome, different colors in different faux leathers).  So I've been using those to keep a daily (for the most part) record of what has been going on.  I am a dabbling writer and write frequently so I have written lots of letters to them and poems etc. in my journals.  I think it would still be nice to get a baby book, and to get my dh to write to them too.

    We are definitely filling out a baby book. We bought one the night we got the BFP and filled out the parts we could that night as well :) Yesterday, someone posted about writing a letter to the baby the day you get your ultrasound (thoughts, feelings. etc.), and we are going to do that as well.

    We are also taking pics of my belly each month so that we can have it to watch the progression.  The progression isn't much now, but when we look back we'll enjoy the flip-book feeling of those pics.

    I started one for my DS in my 1st trimester and love that I did, I look back at it all the time.  Now that I am PG again I love reading it and I know when it comes to Dr. Appt. I look at DH and mine all the time to compare DS weight and height to ours at certain months.

    You know I know you all will gasp at this but I didnt fill one out with my first one she was given too would forget so busy so tired.  So I am going to try with the second one.  But well see I got a calendar thing with sticks much easier I hope.
