pls explain this behavior to me

DD has been biting a lot lately when she nurses, but it usually means that she's either done or she's really tired/cranky. This morning, she kept biting and biting and we just couldn't get anywhere. She slept 11.5 hours so I doubt she was tired and I was pretty sure she was hungry. When I offered her a bottle of EBM, she sucked it down. Any thoughts?

Sometimes that sucking can hurt their ears if they're teething or have an ear infection.
