****Question of the Day******
How did you meet your husband and how long have you been together? How long have you been married? If not married, how did you meet your SO and how long have you been together?
Re: ~~~~~Wed Bedrest Mama Checkin~~~~~
QOTD: My husband and I went to high school together but he's 4 years older than me. We met at a party and started hanging out and were friends forever. Then we realized we cared about each other much more than friends right before I moved across the country for grad school and dated long distance for 2 years. Then came back and got married! We've been together for 5 1/2 years and have been married for 3.
Updates: Remember the unwanted stripping of membranes I had done yesterday! OHMYGOD the pain was horrific afterwards! DONT DO THIS! I am still pissed that he did this without asking and WHY WHY WHY at 37 weeks, there is no reason. I had cramping all day and stabbing pains like a knife in my cervix. It felt better when I sat or layed down but when I tried walking up the stairs to bed I was literally crying. I got a great night's sleep and I feel like a new woman today, no more pain!
I have an appt with the same dr. next week.....we're gonna have words.
I like having this check in during the am. It's nice to read and write first thing while I'm sipping on my one cup of coffee of the day.
I'm so sorry you had a rough procedure yesterday, Asnowracer, there's nothing worse then having to be that uncomfortable while you are on restrictions anyway. I hope you are feeling better today and talking to your Dr will help.
Updates: had a rough day yesterday. Was feeling really hormomal (small panic attack) and my B/P was high for the first time at the OB's office. Took it again and it went down to normal by the time my NST was finished. Doing a 24hour urine anyway. (what a PIA!!). Seeing my fetal specialist today, having a Level 2! Excited to see the baby, hoping for some restrictions to get lifted. Seeing my OB again on Friday (ugh I'm so tired of appts)
QOTD: DH and I met about 15 years ago in college,(he was 2 years ahead of me) we weren't close until after my graduation, we connected at a friends wedding. Dated briefly for about a month, but we were both on the rebound and decided it was better to be just good friends. Really long story short, we started dating again a few years later and have been together since for the last 6 years. We've been married for 3 1/2 years and I'm looking forward to celebrating our 4 year anniversary in September with our little addition.
my husband and i met 5.5 years ago (we met online) but it turns out we have tons of mutual friends
we will be married 3 years in may.
Updates: I failed my 1 hour glucose test :-(.
QOTD: I met my husband while I was on vacation in Las Vegas. It was the first time I ever visited Las Vegas. I met him at Studio 54 in the MGM Grand where we were both staying the 1st night my Aunt and I were there. He was visiting from England on a "boys holiday"! I met up with each of the 4 night I was there and had an amazing time. He went back to England and I went back to Dallas. We talked on the phone everyday and he came to visit me twice before we decided I should move to England so I did. I met him in June and moved to England in October, I know I'm crazy. In April we will celebrate our 4 year wedding anniversary and in June I will have known him for 6 years. Oh, and only lived in England with him for a year before he got a job transfer to Atlanta.
DH and I met 9 years ago in college. I was his German tutor
We were friends for a while and started dating when he went to study abroad in Germany (which is where I'm from originally). Got married 5 years ago at a fairytale church & castle in Germany. I'm also looking forward to celebrating our 5th anniversary as a family of 4!!
Updates: I'm 24 weeks today! Very glad to have reached this milestone and now looking forward to 28 weeks (fingers crossed).
QOTD: How did you meet your husband and how long have you been together? How long have you been married? If not married, how did you meet your SO and how long have you been together? DH and I met on a law school discussion board when we were both applying to law school - late 2001/early 2002. We met in person in August 2002 so we've been together 6.5 years. We've been married 5 years in May.
Congratulations!!!
update: I think we might have a c-section date!!! March 30th! I am just waiting for my dr's office to call after they confirm with the hospital!!!!! Yea!
QOTD: We met in college in August of 1997. Got married in June 2003, so we've been married for almost 6 years.
hi all!
update: doing really well - cervix is still closed (yay!) and belly is measuring 44 weeks
OB cleared me to go to a MOVIE this weekend!!!!
QOTD: met DH through mutual friends in NYC at a poetry reading - we both went to the same college but at different times, so had lots of friends in common. started dating within a month, and we've been together 7.5 years now, married for 3.5!

Hi ladies I hope you are all well. I have been released from bedrest. My OB said as long as I am not bleeding or cramping I can move about, he still wants me to take it easy and rest as much as possible. I am approved to work from home for 8 weeks so I will take advantage of that. I wish you all the best of luck and I hope to not be here again
How did you meet your husband and how long have you been together? How long have you been married? DH and I met at work 10 years ago. He no longer works for the same company, but I do. We have been married for 8 years.
