im just annoyed now.. all this purse /diaper bag talk...

in the one post people went as far as criticising ppl for buying bags and saying its stupid and money can be spent on other things, such as a savings bond and blah blah...

yes, youre right. it could. BUT i (and im sure many others) have the money to buy luxury items AND still care for my baby!! and buy whatever she needs. and to bring the economy in it, come on. ...

is it my problem that the economy sucks, that you are green, that you cant afford it, that you lost ur job, that the DOW went down.. um NO...

so before you get all " its childish to spend money on things that arent for baby" -- get over it!

While I can't afford a Coach diaper bag because I did lose my job for being pregnant at that.. I don't think badly of people who do buy a Coach diaper bag or any other expensive one for that! If you have the extra money to spend on it then I say spend away. I can honestly say that if I was well off and could afford it, I would probably have an expensive diaper bag too even though i'm simply in love with the cutesie ones! haha!

I don't think this post was aimed towards me though because i'm not a green mama or whatever but I thought i'd throw in my 2 cents.I may be wrong on that thought but whatever. I see why your annoyed.. it's no ones place to tell anyone what to do with their money.

OMGGG I bought the same diaper baggg! Yay for pink coach diaper bags. For ds I bought the coach scribbles bag in 2007. Ahhh beautiful!

Hel! yeah, spend money on what you want to spend money on. I just remember what the last diaper bag went through and came out looking like lol. So this time I'm going with the least obnoxious from either Target or one of the local kid's stores in town. If it was childish to spend money on things that aren't for baby, we'd all be incredibly uncomfortable and have horrible hair!

no. not boo to me. Boo to Best Buy for being selfish pricks that think a pregnant woman can't correctly do her job at running a cash register. Since they were cutting hours they figured they would do away completely with the pregnant girl. I hate the manager I had there with all of my being.

While I agree that you should spend your hard earned money on whatever you want, I will be trying to save as much money on things as possible. I don't feel that I should stop buying things for myself simply because I should spend it all on baby though either. I still deserve to buy things for myself. We also do need to buy things to continue in getting the economy going...

I'm pretty confident I won't lose my job at this point, but anything can happen. I do feel for those that have lost their jobs and are adding another mouth to feed. It sucks, but hopefully everything will work out for them.

BTW, I like your pink bag and I'm jealous...

I don't give a crap what people buy with their own damn money but think it's irritating that people feel the need to AW out their status items.

To me status items are silly because at the end of the day it serves the purpose as any other diaper bag with your kid's crap and vomit on it. I wouldn't want to spend tons of money for something that gets dragged around. And before someone says I'm "green" I have to say I wouldn't buy an expensive purse either. Most designer bags are uber ugly to me anyway.

I totally agree with you. People spend money on all different things. I'm sure someone would think I am CRAZY for spending what I do every month to keep my horse. Just like I can't imagine a $700 car payment. We all have our things and it's no one else's business who is spending their money on what.
