Oh honey how much longer do you have?

Yesterday was the day that everyone felt the need to come up to me & say "Oh honey how much longer do you have? You look like you are about to drop that baby out" I am 7 months pregnant & when I told them end of May they just look horrified, um hello, I've only gained 24pounds, I think I look pretty good & I was also toting my 2.5 year old around. I can understand, sometimes, if a woman wants to symphathize with me but what I can't understand is the 3 men that walked up to me just feeling so sorry for me. I'm pretty sure none of them have ever been pregnant & boy did it make me mad. Today just thinking about it makes me want to eat!

Didn't anyone tell you that pregnancy is a horrible disease that must be cured as soon as possible? And that one of the symptoms is the big sign above your head that says "Please comment on my weight/size/general appearance"?

I got so irritated by comments like these that I actually told one man, "yeah, I'm catching up to you!" and pointed at his belly. Serves him right!

This has happened to me too. I have decided I am going to start screwing with them and tell them I am due in Sept. Just to see the look on their dumbfounded faces:)
