Hurt so good! :)

Yesterday I took my first ever pilates class. Today I am in that good sort of pain you get from working out. I am feeling muscles in areas I did not know had muscles.

Am I the only one who always feels skinnier the day after a good work out when your muscles are tight from the workout? :) I am even wearing a dress in honor of the feeling!

  • i used to loooove pilates! the feeling the next day is amazing!

    i used to love spinning too! i used to do it twice a week...

    now that i see this..."used" has officially hit my vocabulary and i need to start getting arse in gear!

  • i totally felt the same way the day after i started my diet/ exercise in January. I felt instantly thinner, probably cause the nasty bloat from eating bad and being lazy was gone! :-)

  • Where did you do Pilates !?!  I've done it a few times and it's a great workout! I love that "burn" and yes I totally feel skinnier after a good workout :)

  • Leanna, my job has a gym and they have all sorts of classes. Monday and Thursday at 1:30pm is pilates. Wanna be my guest one of these days?

  • I should really get out my Pilates DVD and start doing it again. I used to do it every day before I got married and I got pretty toned.. and in the past 5 years have lost all of that!

  • You go Mel! Getting in shape after having kids seems SO HARD! So I give you major props for getting your work-out on! And, yes, I too feel way skinnier after even just my first work out-lol! It just feels so good!
