So, still not in maternity, but against my better judgement (and directly attributed to the fact that I was too lazy to do laundry last night) I wore a shirt that I haven't worn since pre-pregnancy. It's one of those wrap contraptions that ties around my waist (or what's left of it) and I feel like I look like a slob with a few fat rolls. Ugh...don't you hate those days, where you wish you could run home and change.
I'm considering stopping by Cato on my lunch break. It's the only clothing store in this shopping center, but if I get depserate enough, it will certainly do.
Re: I hate what I'm wearing...
One of those days, I guess. I discovered this morning that the maternity shirt I was wearing on days I didn't feel like showing off the baby bump has morphed somehow into a shirt that shows it off quite well- except that it shows an indentation where my belly button is (still an innie) and I just look chubby.
Yay for crappy clothes days.
On the plus side, the clothes are clean- DH did laundry yesterday.. even though I had to go down into our laundry room (in the garage) in a bathrobe this morning because he forgot to take my clothes out of the dryer..
I had one of those mornings too, it took me half an hour of putting things on and taking them off before I found something acceptable... definitely need to do laundry tonight.

Day Three
I totally understand. Every day last week I came home from work thinking "I canNOT wear this anymore" Not until after baby anyways. It really started to affect my self esteem!
So, last weekend I spent all sorts of money and bought clothes to make me feel better. I say - you can't put a price on feeling pretty
FYI...several years ago, when I could afford my really good hairdresser, she told me that it's better not to wash it every day to keep it from drying out and getting weak, so I've always been an every other day washer...bangs really help, b/c you can wash your bangs, sprinkle a little powder on the oily roots, and you're good to go!
i am so lucky i wear scrubs during the week....i feel like an ass on the weekends when im trying to look cute. last week we went to dinner and I sat there with my pants unzipped the whole time. classy, i know.
these babies better appreciate the anguish we are experiencing.
Can I join the club? I'm wearing a sweater that just last week looked fine, but today is really showing off my belly, and I'm not quite ready to do that yet! Plus it's feeling a little short, so I've been tugging on it all day to cover my belly band - good look!
