I know how much everyone loves this subject...
I have been packin over a pound a week for the last couple months now ( I am about 25 weeks) despite efforts to eat healthy and exercise. I have heard that weight gain can slow towards the end ( I am HOPING!) and I am wondering if anyone has heard the same??? At this rate I am going to be HUGE...already feeling way uncomfortable!
Re: Packin' on the pounds...
1- get a ticker
2- know that weight posts are looked down upon in these here parts. This is all for a good cause. If you have to gain 70 lbs to get through the process of making and having a baby, so be it!
3- If 3rd tri didn't like your question, chances are, 2nd tri won't either...
4- Lurk first, post second....
5-....I'm sure there is something I'm missing...
I have been packing on the pounds too! For the first few months, I was steady at 1 pound per week. In the last 4 weeks though, I haven't gained anything. My mom said she gained all of her pregnancy weight in the begining of her pregnancy too. My doc hasn't said the first word about me gaining too much weight, so I'm just going with it.
P.S. I don't hate your post. . . . aren't we supposed to be able to vent and ask questions freely here??????
Thanks Jaime5121!
I am not sure why people bother to respond if they don't have anything helpful to add...
Just to throw this out there, I gained 50+ lbs with DS. I lost all of it, plus 10 lbs by 9 months after I had him. I never dieted, I never tried to lose the weight it just came off.
Don't sweat it. Some appointments I gained as much as 10 lbs between the appointments. I want to say between 16 to 25 weeks I gained the most over all then it tapered off.
