Found choroid plexus cyst

They found a choroid plexus cyst on my baby's brain during my 18w ultrasound Friday. They are not harmful to the baby and usually go away on their own, but are a marker for Trisomy 18 and 21.

I have a Level II ultrasound scheduled for 3/26 with a high risk specialist and then we meet with a genetic counselor after. This sucks. My quad screen came back normal, so hopefully it's just a fluke. I just can't believe we have to deal with this now.

some of us just talked about this in another post from today titled "choroid plexus cysts." There's lots of advice and info in there. Our baby girl had one at the 20w u/s and it was gone last week at our level II. Hang in there!
