no jackass, i am not trying to 'start' something. I really DO think you are an idiot and DO quite honestly feel sorry for your baby.
I also disagree with a 3 week old CIO. You choose to have a baby, babies cry and need to be held. Babies don't sleep, but that was inconvient for you. So you let your baby CIO because that was easier for you. Here is a news flash it is not about YOU! Babies are inconvient, babies don't sleep and neither do you. Maybe you should have gotten a dog?
Ok lets get this straight. If she's screaming bloody murder I will come in and get her and calm her down but if she's wimpering and crying a little I usually let her for about 5-10 minutes. She usually doesn't cry when we put her in her crib. THATS what I mean by crying it out. Think what you want about it.
She crys when I take her out of the tub and she crys when we change her diaper (I think she likes sitting in her poop!). Babies cry and it's okay...
Yes but when you take her out of the tub or you change her diaper you are there to comfort her. Letting a 3 week old cry when you don't have to is not okay, she needs the comfort she is too young.
What you are saying is not CIO, you don't know the difference? Do you know what CIO is?Have you read any sleep books because you are using the term wrong.
Oh good - thank you for covering this Mod. I was giving DS a bath and then put him to bed without so much as a whimper.
Wheee!

Re: kreugs1982, you are a complete idiot.

P.S. both my grandmothers died a long time ago thank you.
