I'm supposed to start it today, er, put it in...

Have you used it, did you like it, did you have any crazy hormonal/weight issues?  TIA.

    I used it pre preg. I really liked it, no weight issues. My only side effect was this it did dampen my sex drive a little bit. I thought it was SO easy, though. I never had an issue with it coming out or slipping down or anything.

    I used it when it first came out years ago.  It made me extremely irritated "down there"  I also get that way from condoms (from back in the day before we trusted bcp 100%)  I didn't stay on it long enough to notice any weight issues or anything.

    I didnt have any weight issues with it, but i think its the wrong hormones for me. I am calling my doc Monday to ask if we can switch also im feeling a little irritated "down there" too

    I used it after having DS and I had awful hormonal side effects. It totally zapped my sex drive and I was a hormonal mess. BUT, I pretty much have these side effects with any hormonal BC, so if you've been on the pill and didn't have any problems, you should like it.

    I did like how easy it was to put in and take out, and the fact that I only had to think about it once every three weeks. I never felt it "up there" and DH said that he never felt it during sex.

    HATED it. Stopped after 2 months. I had irritation, constant spotting and no sex drive.

    I loved it. It was really easy and has a much lower dose of hormones than a lot of pills. Pills make me crazy but NuvaRing didn't. Also, I had a crazy sex drive while I was on it and I didn't have any problems with irritation.

    I used it before ttc. I liked it but dh hated it (this may be tmi, but you can leave it in during sex and he could feel it - but I didn't like taking it out because I'd forget to put it back!).
