Trying to Get Pregnant

Natural remedies to assist with Fertility

I'm doing some research to see if there are any other herbs out there that I can try to see if I can ovulate on my own.

This is the website I'm on   https://www.naturalfertilityshop.com/.  I'm thinking about seeing if I can find Maca at a local health food store or GNC.  I'm also thinking about trying an Acai Berry supplement too.  What do you girls think?

Thanks for the link! I'm going to research this myself!

  • Check out Vitex (aka chasteberry)-- I took that this month and ovualated for the first time in 3 months. They say it takes 3-6 months to work, but it worked right away for me. Also, I have been drinking Traditional Medicinal teas that have all kinds of beneficial things in it. https://www.traditionalmedicinals.com/womens_teas/product/33#

  • If you're looking to go the natural route, I've heard that accupuncture can help with ovulation and fertility in general.  Someone recently on GP got PG after using accupuncture, but I don't remember who.  I don't know a whole lot about it though, sorry!
  • I'm on Vitex already.  I have been using it since June 2008.
  • I'm going to look into acupuncture as well.

Can someone tell me what acupuncture does to help you ovulate?  A link would be helpful. I bought a book on chinese medicine to help with fertility and haven't cracked it open yet.  My Dh supports me but a part of him thinks that it is a scam.

  • Im going today to talk to an acupunturist about it...I hear its pretty expensive.
  • Accupuncture seems to work for some people.  Not sure about the cost elsewhere, but I investigated a little in my area and NYC it's about $200 per session, monthly.
