    the dwell studio hooded towels?

i didn't get a chance to check the site today until late morning, and they were out of my 1st choice print, but i got one each of the other two.  i'd be willing to part with one of them, if you really want one!

that was my 1st choice, too, but they were the first one to sell out, so i got the alphabet and the pink one.  if you want the pink one, it's all yours.  i would have probably just saved it for a gift or something.  i couldn't decide what i would do with it, but had to jump on the deal before it sold out!

  • Addie just pointed to my big zit and said "RED!"

glad you know your colors kid.

YES! I hate it too, I think I mentioned it to Dana when we were all at the movies and she had no idea what I was talking about. I saw an ad in sunday's paper that said "download the hit song!" no thank you.

Maddie knows how to say "hi" in Chinese.  She's watching a show on Noggin and waving to the TV saying "Ni Hao!".  she's a genius I tell you!  Wink

Madeline loves Kai Lan!  I am glad to move beyond Dora!  Whew!

i didn't know "ni hao, kai lan" was an actual show until just now!  i was skimming the guide and happened to see it, and had to go look for this post!

i just assumed maddie learned "ni hao" somewhere, and that madeline loves "kai lan", as in the vegetable, and was actually quite impressed that you actually call it kai lan!  (rather than chinese broccoli!)

  • Kendall also likes "ni hao, kai lan"

  • My "baby" is going to be 3 on Monday.  How on earth did that happen?  Where did the last year go?!

  • I cannot believe your baby is going to be 3 either...  wow!

    :)

Joe's vocabulary is just shooting out.. he says chews (shoes) and Joos (juice) and Mommy NOOOOO  (love that one! Indifferent), Mommy DOWN! (again...  always a good one)... Daddeeee Boat (with a good TX accent)...  BeBe and more.

    He makes me giggle.

  • Deux is in my lungs.  I.am.having.trouble.breathing.

Is it bad that I just had a slice of blackberry pie and I am getting ready for a small slice of cake in 10 minutes?  I didn't have much lunch at all - 3 bites - and my doctor wants me to gain weight...

  • harmony, I am jealous.

    I want pie.

  • We were listening to M's cd in the car the other day and the Happy Birthday song came on.  I got so excited and started screaming, "Yay, it's this weekend!  Aren't you excited?".  Well, the whole song played and after it was over M says to me.....

"We don't scream in the car Mommy".....she is right, we don't.  Guess I should follow my own rules.

  • LOL--that's hilarious.

She is adorable and so very grown up looking!

Isn't funny the things they say? Last night K told DH that his breath was stinky. And she always reminds me (after being denied one of the following) that Coke rots your teeth and TV rots your brain. LOL--I guess she reallty does listen to me sometimes!

  • How is it that holding 6 extra pounds all day can make your back hurt so much? I keep thinking she is so little but I sure do feel it at the end of the day.

?That's surprising. ?I keep thinking about how much lighter this baby is going to feel compared to O.?

  • Ugh, I need these contractions to stop. ?I really don't want to go to the hospital. ?Last night they were coming every 4 minutes but I was able to get them to stop by walking around. ?I'm almost afraid to start timing them this morning. ?Just go away!

  • we tried using an old fashioned timer for time out last night. when the bell rings she's done. except the bell scared the crap out of her. She let out such a scream when it rang (and it rang for a while) and totally freaked out. She wouldn't stop crying and staring at it as if it was going to attack.?

I'm kind of wondering if the threat of the timer will be enough to curb behavior that needs time out.?

"Addie stop hitting or I will let the timer go off." sorry I couldn't help myself.

Joshua got on the swings for the first time ever (voluntarily without screaming) while at school on Monday and I missed it.

I think just showing it to her would make her stop misbehaving.

Joshua is the first kid I know who hates the swings! I'm glad he got on. I'm resisting using a "Swing of things" pun.?
