I've only sold a few things on ebay so I'm pretty new at this. I have a LOT of baby shoes that Mikayla has outgrown, most of them still brand new because she never even got a chance to wear them (let this be a lesson to me!). I want to sell them - so far I have 16 pairs to sell!
So, is it better to have one big lot of the 16 pairs, or should I maybe split them into two lots of 8? At first I thought one big lot would attract buyers, but I don't know if it's better to have smaller, lesser priced auctions because people might not want to spend that much right now. Thoughts if you sell/buy on Ebay? ![]()
Re: ? re: selling baby items on Ebay
I would sell them individually or in sets of 2 or 3.
I only have 3 pairs of shoes for DD in each size, so as a buyer 8 would be too many.
I'd give it a try on Craigslist first so you don't have to deal with shipping.
And then go to ebay. I wouldn't want to buy 8 or 16 pairs at once. Maybe sets of 3 pair? If they're not name brands, I woudn't expect to get much for them though... You might have better luck at a consignment store.

I would also try CL first since it doesn't cost you anything. I did just list some a big lot of baby clothes on CL and got zero bites, but that doesn't mean you won't!
If you end up doing Ebay I'd do two or three smaller lots.
