Finding out sex of the baby?

How many of you plan on finding out the sex of your baby before you give birth? I feel like everyone on these boards finds out and I am one of the few who plans on waiting and letting it be a surprise. Anyone else? Smile

I hate surprises so we are not waiting. I don't want the doctor to tell us though. I'm plan on having the sex written down and sealed in an envelope so that DH and I can open it together, just the two of us after the appointment. I'm thinking about planning a family get together around it so we and our whole family can find out at the same time.

I want to be surpised, but DH wants to know, so we'll probably find out if we can. I'm not sure why since I don't like gender specific colors and I really hate pink.

I don't think we will tell anyone, though.

this isn't even up for debate - we're finding out at our 20wk u/s or amnio (if we decide to have one). we're decorating our nursery gender neutral (moreso bcause we'll likely have 1 or 2 more) but i don't think it's in me not to know when there's a way for me to find out. DH and i have zero patience!1 and i also think a LOT harder to hold out on baby #1

DH and I waited for the first and we will wait on this one too. There is just something about not knowing and looking forward to the end to find out. Plus we know too many people who were told wrong.

We're not going to find out either. We both really want the suprise in the delivery room. I can't wait to hear the doctor say "It's a "! It also doesn't matter to us whether it's a boy or a girl... so we'll wait!

Its going to be a surprise for us... just at twenty weeks, not at forty. I figure the surprise will be more fun when I can focus on that, not the sex and twenty million other new things at the same time.
