***Mrs.Donkey***

I recently read your post about cloth diapers on your blog and had a question. ?I have been using cloth diapers since DS was a newborn and wanted to know about the flushable liners. ?

We started solids this week (breastfed only before) and I have some of the liners. ?Do you just put them in every diaper change? ?My DS poops every 4 days or so. ?
?
I think I might try them starting tomorrow. ?I completely forgot about them and this is the reason I bought them. ?He had his first poop today after a few days of solids and I can already see the "peanut butter poop". ?

  • Yay for CDs!  :)

Yeah, I would go ahead and put them in with every diaper.  His poop will become a lot more frequent and unpredictable for a while starting solids.  I'm told it does get more predictable later on, but I'm still putting a liner in with every diaper.  I really like the rice paper liners because you can wash them a few times and re-use them if they don't get poop on them.  I just bought some Bummis liners and I have to say I'm not a fan.  Especitally, if you use diapers with velcro.  They get all tangled up in the wash and you can't use them again.

So, yes.  Definitely get some liners - rice paper ones, and use them in every diaper.
