Maybe she hasn't even thought about it being a bad idea. You should ask her if she has talked to her dr. about that. I don't usually mind my own business though!!
Shes not the sharpest tool in the box is she. Stupid Idea. Make a comment but in a joking way that way if she gets real defensive you can say its a joke. Even though its not
Mind your business. Yeah, I probably wouldn't go horseback riding while pg either, but it sounds like she's experienced with horses and will probably be doing a very slow and mild ride. Not your place. (But it sounds like you already know that)
Her call. My mom rode when she was pregnant for me up to 8 months, but she had her own horses. I personally wouldn't do it that long, but at 3 months, I don't see the problem with it.
I personally wouldn't go myself, but I've only been horseback riding once, so I'm not exactly experienced. I'm not sure what kind of riding she's going to do, but if you wanted to say something, you could always say, "Oh, you're doctor okayed that? I wasn't allowed to __________ (fill in the blank with something that might be considered in the same family)."
I knew someone who was going skiing when she was 6 months pregnant. I thought she was insane. I asked her if her doctor said it was okay. She said her doctor wasn't thrilled, but told her just not to fall. I'm sorry, but even if you're an expert, falls happen, and there are a LOT of people out there who don't know what they're doing as much. My biggest fear when I ski is other people skiing into me. Not to mention that your balance is not the same when you're that pregnant.

I temporarily gave up skiing while pg too. It was a bummer. We actually had a ski trip planned for 2 weeks after I found out I was pg with DD, so I just went and helped DS ski for the first time. I just wouldn't risk it, because even though I am very experienced, like you said, falls happen and other people are reckless. But skiing and horseback riding just don't seem the same to me. It seems your chances of falling or being hit are much greater skiing than on a gentle horseback ride. JMO though.
