giving green beans...

Has anyone been successful at this? I only just tried today and DS turned up his nose. Of course I would too. They are just so....green. lol

I'll keep trying, but its on to peas next.

We've only been successful when I snuck it in with something else like sweet potatoes or butternut squash. ?DS loved peas (they were the first food he had after rice cereal) at first, but now gags when I try to give them to him. ?I found it difficult to get these two vegetables smooth when pureeing them myself and thought maybe he didn't like the little bits.

she hated peas first, kinda liked green beans. now she loves peas and is more "eh" on the beans. i have to mix it with something.

DS likes both, but peas better. Peas have a tendancy to be sweeter and the green beans, wow, do they stink! One of my friends IRL said all three of her kids refused green beans for awhile.

DS eats every veggie! He has not rejected any of the 1st foods....well, we didn't try prunes yet, but he likes everything else.

At first he made a face when he had the green beans and peas, but he has never refused to eat them.

My DS thought i was trying to poison him with i gave him green beans, but he loves loves loves peas! And pretty much everything else he's tried so far. His favorite is Mango!
