Bad news :(

I just got back from my ultrasound. We found out that it's a blighted ovum. I'm having a D&C tomorrow, and they are going to do all of the testing they can on the tissue. My doctor is being incredibly proactive and said that she will be calling my endocrinologist that I have been seeing about my thyroid. She also said that if the tests came back not showing any chromosomal abnormalities, that she would do what she could to get me an appointment with the reproductive endocrinologist that she refers people to (apparently this RE usually only sees patients after 3 consecutive m/c).

It will most likely be a while until we start trying again because we need to get my thyroid issues figured out. I do want to thank you ladies so much for all of your support over the past couple of weeks. Best of luck to you all!

I am so sorry to hear this. Your family is definitely in my prayers! I know that there are no words that will take away the pain that you must be feeling but just know that if ever there is a need I am here for you, and based on the responses from the wonderful wonderful women in this group I am sure that they will be to!
