So torn....to leave DD or not to leave her

I just got invited on a girls trip to Vegas in the middle of May with my best friend who now lives in CA, I live in MN. DD will be 7 months at the time. My friend's DH is currently deployed and when he gets back they are going to start TTC so this is my last chance for a "girls trip" with her, at least for awhile. I just don't know what to do, I want to go really bad but I also don't know if I can be that far apart from DD yet!

    How many days is the trip? If it is a couple nights, I think it is doable. At 8 months I left DS for two nights. It was hard, but it was much needed and he had a great time at his grandparent's house.

    When she's 20 is she going to "god mom, I wish you hadn't left on that girls weekend when I was 4 months old. I had such a horrible time with my father/grandparents/family that I still am haunted by it?"

    Nah. BUT YOU will remember NOT going. GO! Go and have a blast!

    go and have fun! She will be fine with who you are leaving her with and at 7 months won't remember it later on. Enjoy your weekend because who knows when/if youwill ever be able to do it again!

    I agree, you should go! It will give you time to unwind and bond with your friend, DD will get to bond with whomever watches her, and in a few days you'll be back with her and will have had an awesome experience to boot. It'll be fine!
